Borak-Borak Sewing Pattern: Apa tu Sewing Pattern? Ada Saiz ke?
Salam Semua
Posting kali ni Lily nak share sket pasal Sewing Pattern. Apa tu sewing pattern? Haaaa... dalam bahasa melayu , atau dikalangan tukang jahit melayu - lebih dikenali sebagai Pola Jahitan. Muahahahahah, ni pun terms yang Lily baru belajor. So nak senang, next time jangan panggil pola yer. Sebut jer Sewing Pattern. Nak google pun senang.
Ok berbalik pasal sewing pattern tadi. Sewing Pattern datang dalam bentuk atau versi printed & digital. Dalam versi digital, biasanya penjahit akan diberi pattern dalam PDF file & kemudian print sendiri di rumah.
Kelebihan Printed Sewing Pattern:
* Tak payah pening2 nak print. Dah ter print dengan cantiknya.
* Tinggal buka & gunting
* Atau kalau nak jimat - tekap kat kertas lain & yang ori boleh di simpan
Kekurangan Printed Sewing Pattern:
* Nak import dari luar negara mengambil masa yang lama
* Ada kos penghantaran.
* Kertasnya macam kertas tisu & mudah koyak utk yang tak biasa.
Kelebihan Digital Sewing Pattern:
* Tak de kos penghantaran
* Cepat sampai - boleh terus check di email box anda
* Boleh print sendiri dengan kertas A4
* PDF file tu anda boleh simpan & yang anda potong hanya kertas A4 tadi
Kekurangan Digital Sewing Pattern:
* Sesetengah company akan limitkan printing tersebut kepada 3 kali setahun.
* Kena invest kat kertas A4
Ok, sekarang kita tengok pulak ye, apa yang ada kat sewing pattern ni.
1) Sewing Instruction - Arahan jahitan. So dah senang dah. Just ikut jer arahan.
2) Yardage Requirement - Setiap sewing pattern, dia akan bagitau berapa banyak kain nak pakai
3) Other Notions - Ni pun sama, dia akan bagitau apa2 lagi bahan yang diperlukan selain dari fabrik. Contohnya - butang, zip, getah
4) Size - biasanya ada saiz kat situ. Contoh (XS-M, L-XXL) atau (12-16, 18-22).
5) Sewing Pattern - hmmm yang ni lah yang kita gunting & tekap kat kain.
6) Level - ni lebih kepada untuk indicate senang ke susah ke nak siapkan baju tu.Kalau baru2 berjinak, then gunalah Beginner. ^_^
7) Suggested Fabric - ni pun bagus. Indicate fabrik nak guna jenis yang macamana. Sewing Pattern yang dibuat untuk jahit knit (fabric yang boleh strect) & woven ( fabric yang tak boleh stretch) berbeza .

Salam Semua
Kenal tak dress ni?
Ni lily buat dari balance kain cotton designer (errr lupa), yang asalnya lily buat Lily punya tunic top. Fabriknya di import dr nuuuun jauh disana. Dari US masa musim krismas tahun lepas. Hmm dah lama tu .....
Dress ni memang simple jer. Setengah hari je boleh siap satu. Perfect utk busy mommies ;-).
Sewing pattern atau pola jahitan, saya ambil dari Sew Sweet Pattern. Jadi, instruction dalam english. Tapi kalau rakan-rakan perlukan bantuan, email je lily.
Err Lily pakai mesin jahit apa?? Hmmm later Lily citer , ok.
